Principal, Daniel & Partners — trading as Saegil
Daniel is the principal of Daniel & Partners, trading as Saegil, and has practised exclusively in New Zealand immigration law for more than a decade.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury, and a Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice.
Before establishing the firm, Daniel worked with some of the most respected organisations in the immigration profession: Fragomen, the world's largest immigration law firm; EY, one of the Big Four global professional services firms; and New Zealand Immigration Law, one of New Zealand's leading specialist immigration firms.
Throughout his career he has advised across the full spectrum of immigration matters — from some of the world's largest multinational corporations transferring executives and skilled workers into New Zealand, to employers, investors, families and individuals facing complex immigration problems. That work includes residence applications, Accredited Employer Work Visa matters, employer accreditation, character and medical waivers, section 61 requests, Immigration and Protection Tribunal appeals, ministerial requests, and matters involving unlawful immigration status.
As a bilingual Korean and English speaking immigration practitioner, Daniel is known for clear, practical advice and for building immigration strategies around each client's actual circumstances.
